Vietnamese blue and white ceramic porcelain serving bowl hand-painted with figures to the exterior and a landscape inside, two character blue underglaze mark to underside, together with a turned hardwood stand on four feet. Vessel: 3.5" H x 9.25" diameter. Provenance: From the collection of Le Lieu and Malcolm Browne (American, 1931-2012), the photojournalist who took the 1963 award-winning photograph of the self-immolation of Buddhist Monk Thic Quang Duc (Vietnamese, 1893-1963).
