Five Erie and Lackawanna Railroad Dining Car Items - St. Albans China Plate, Silver Flatware, and Menu A group of five dining car items for Erie and Delaware, Lackawanna, & Western railroads including a 7 3/4" china plate in the St. Albans pattern bottom stamped Syracuse Made Expressly for D.L.&W.R.R.Co. L. Barth & Co. G-12 St. Albans Copyrighted 1915. The plate shows standard signs of use with moderate utensil scratches, discoloration along the edge, and stacking wear. The plate shows sauger marks and discoloration due to the ceramic not being covered by a thick enough glaze. No chips, cracks, or breaks. Three pieces of flatware in a labeled case includes a 7 1/2" spoon top marked with the Erie diamond logo on the handle and bottom marked International Silver Co., showing moderate tarnish and light scratches. A 7 3/8" spoon bottom stamped Lackawanna International Silver Co., showing heavy tarnish, scratches across the surface, a deep 1/2" scratch in the bowl, nicks along the edge of the bowl, and a worn tip. A 7 1/8" fork top marked with the Erie-Lackawanna E diamond logo and bottom stamped International Silver Co., showing heavy tarnish, scratches, and nick along the edge of one outside prong. Also included is a Lackawanna Railroad Dining Car Service menu for the Rail-Camera Safari dated October, 1939. The back of the menu shows camera shots and details of early locomotives. The menu shows mild discoloration from age along the edge. See photos for best description.
