An Indonesian Bali hand carved dark wood figure depicting a mythological scene of the monkey god Hanuman fighting with a snake king Nagaraja, engraved with detailed patterns. Mounted on a rock shaped base. Circa: the second half of the 20th century. Hanuman, also called Maruti, Bajrangabali, and Anjaneya, is a Hindu god and a divine vanara companion of the god Rama.
