French Empire Style Bronze And Marble Mantel Clock, C. Late 19th C., H 21" W 18" Depth 7" | Having a bronze bust by Alfred Pierre Richard (French, 1844-1884) of a Greek soldier with helmet and lion skin cap, possibly Hercules or Alexander the Great. Signed on the back of the bust 'Richard JPT.'. Black Belgian marble case with low relief bronze plaques on the front and sides. Winged Athena bust front legs. Movement marked Japy Freres and B.K. & C. (Bigelow Kennard and Co., Boston, MA.). Includes key and pendulum. Provenance: Property from a Bloomfield Hills, MI private collector.
