A Regency mahogany and brass mounted bracket clockBy Peter Keir FalkirkThe 7 1/2 in circular dial with Roman numerals, the twin train movement with gut fusse, and anchor escapement, striking on a bell, the rear plate engraved 'Peter Kier, Falkirk' within foliage and flowers, the arched case inlaid with brass lines and dots, 33cm wide, 20cm deep, 47cm high, (12 1/2in wide, 7 1/2 deep, 18 1/2in high)

Condition

Knocks marks and scratches overall consistent with age
-dial crazed overall some areas of repainting above rivets and around dial centre
-multiple fine knocks round the winding apertures
-bezel remounted and with new glass
-section of brass stringing sitting proud at each end
-right hand of case with shrinkage crack this has also slightly moved the caps on the quarter pillars out of position
-some old worm holes noted
-cased refinished
-rear door with hinge drop
-sound apertures on side with wooden backing
-rear glass a replacement
-it has a pendulum and key
-no key for rear door
