Description
2000s Bolin Fender Clone Precision bass, no serial number, in natural blonde finish with masking taped body, swapped tuners, and Babicz bridge, the instrument is in 7/10 condition, in hard case. This guitar was used extensively for live performances including during ZZ Top's 2013 appearance on the Howard Stern Show when they played "La Grange" live in the studio. In 2013 guitar tech TJ Gordon commented to Premier Guitar that this bass was nicknamed, “Old Faithful.” “It's been around longer than I have, seven years to date, I’m not sure what year it is, and I don’t ask. I only know we bring it along on every tour, whether we use it or not. This one’s a player, and we use it as a measuring stick for any new basses we get.” Dusty has been photographed a great number of times playing this bass on stage including at Eric Clapton's 2010 Crossroads Guitar Festival.
