Description
1. A darkly toned cross stitch alphabet sampler made by Maria LeBland April 10th 1834.
2. A lighter example with colored silk thread embroidery of cross stitched meanders, insects, flowers and alphabet lettering along with a central verse. Signed Ann Tassell Aged 12 Years.
The example with the alphabet has a sight size of 16.25 x 14.75 x 18.5 with a framed size of inches. The verse example has a sight size of 16.75 x 17.5 with a framed size of 19.75 x 20.5 inches.
