Description
John W. Taylor signed and dedicated print of Canadian Geese to Weezie Henry, approx 23" x 19" OD. Lithograph Plate 26 of the Carolina parrot published by Audubon and engraved, colored by R. Havell (approx 21.5" x 17.5" OD). Appears to be mid-century reproduction. (From the direct descendants of Baynard & Mary Gibson Henry. Both were prominent figures and contributors in Philadelphia. Mary Gibson Henry was a notable botanist and her plant collections were the first in creation of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University in Philadelphia.)
