Measures: 36 x 27 x 2,5 cm.
Icon divided in three horizontal registers. The upper part represents the Deesis with Christ Pantocrator holding an open Gospel in one hand and blessing with the other, flanked by the Mother of God and John the Baptist, leaning towards him in a gesture of prayer; the central register has the representation of three patron saints and the lower part with St. Michael and St. George on horseback.
The traditional Deesis icon shows Jesus Christ with the Mother of God and John the Baptist. The image of Christ appears in the center of the icon. He is usually depicted enthroned, looking directly at the viewer. Christ holds an open Gospel in one hand and blesses with the other. The Mother of God and John the Baptist appear on either side of the Savior, leaning toward him in a gesture of prayer.
