The wood trunk with hinged barrel lid and three sides wrapped in polychromed tooled leather and the back of carved and polychromed wood, with iron hardware, lock latch, and opposed handles

Overall good condition with scattered scuffs, scratches, nicks, shrinkage cracks, indentations, and separation at joints commensurate with age. Leather worn and stiff, with rubbed wear to the polychrome and scattered losses, concentrated at front right and left side edges. Iron hardware with heavy oxidation. Felt pads applied to underside.
