From the diary of Osborn H. Oldroyd. 8vo, illustrated. Pictorial cloth very good rare book. Features the rare Vicksburg wallpaper sample (glued in at end of book) that served as newspaper in the last days of the siege. The fall of this key city gave the Union complete control of the Mississippi River, which was the beginning of the end for the rebel cause.
