A George III Carved Giltwood Cartel Clock
Thomas Bell, London, 18th Century
signed on the silvered engraved dial on a cartouche in the center, with pierced blued steel hands and a large A-shaped chain and fusee movement with verge escapement.
Height 33 x width 18 1/2 x depth 8 inches.
Property from the Estate of Joanna Hoffman, Palm Beach, and Her Father, John Hoffman, Member of the British Antique Dealers’ Association and the Confederation Internationale de Negociants en Oeuvres d’Art.

Condition

Movement and case both period but possibly associated; dial restored. There appears to be a winding hole filled in. Case re-gilt. The clock is in working condition but might need service and adjustment; not tested for duration.
