NOTE: Purchased circa 1975 from Tiffany's & Co Fifth Avenue Store at the beginning of her career when Elsa Peretti's entire line was at 1 small station at the back of the first floor, and at a time when she was making many of her designs with the aid of her Spanish Silversmith friend; this belt, designed to be worn slung across the hips, was never made in quantity and is rarely seen.
