YU MIYAZAKI (b.1973) is a contemporary artist living and working in Tokyo, Japan. She held her first solo exhibition in 2011, and continues to produce works using various materials including acrylic paints and pencil drawings. She has released bijinga (beautiful women) works often, and was included in the book entitled bijin-ga zukushi (Collection of Beauties) in 2016. In March 2019 she received the grand prize at the 9th Adachi Coontemporary Ukiyo-e Awards, and her first woodcut print Full Bloom - Hanazakari that she created with contemporary carvers and printers received high acclaim.
