Description
Boris Lurie (Russian / American, 1924-2008). 4 lithographs from Boris Lurie's Dance Hall Series portfolio. Martin Levitt, Mandrill Press, D'Arcy Galleries, New York City, 1961. Each lithograph signed in the plate, signed, dated 61 and numbered 29/110 in pencil in the lower margin and with "print pulled by Martin Levitt New York 1961" blindstamp lower right. Portfolio text page numbered 29/110 in pencil. Each sheet 15" x 10 3/4" (with mounts 20 1/2" x 14 1/2"), folio 21 1/4" x 14 1/2". Partial portfolio. Folio with staining, losses to covers, scratches, tears and creasing at corners and along edges; title page and 3 lithographs detached from mounts, mounts all with staining, toning and discoloration, toning to title page.
