Notes: In the lower right quadrant of the painting, Noel Rockmore painted a portrait of his parents, Gladys and Floyd Davis, who were both accomplished New York City artists. Throughout his career, Noel Rockmore painted numerous family portraits of his parents, sister, wives, as well as self-portraits. The lower left quadrant gives a view of New York City where Rockmore was born and raised.

Surface dirt. No signs of past restorations. Darker colors tend to fluoresce under UV light due to their chemical composition. Surface abrasions upper left and right; marks and abrasions along the edges. Frame with surface marks, nicks, and abrasions.
