ENGLISH GEORGE II PARCEL-GILT AND CARVED MAHOGANY LOOKING GLASS / WALL MIRROR, Queen Anne vertical pier form, cut-out and scrolled work, having a pierced foliate roundel above a rectangular frame with leaf-tipped molded border, holding a probably original two-part beveled-edge mirror plate, flanked by acanthus leaf elements. Retains an old surface with warm color and original gilding. Mid 18th century. 71 3/4" HOA, 31" WOA.
