Description
HARRIS & LEMON, LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY COIN SILVER SUGAR TONGS, having fiddle handles with pointed shoulders and ovoid grips, engraved "B" initial to end. Impressed twice with "HARRIS & LEMON" maker's marks for the short-lived partnership of John C. Harris and James I. Lemon of Louisville, KY (active 1830-1831). Total weight: 1.145 ozt. Circa 1830. 6" LOA.

Condition
Very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and nicks, a few minute dents, slight bending, a possible repair at terminal of handle with grip bowl.
