The book contains 180+ signatures from the 45th Congress: approx. 60 Senate, approx. 120 House (some unreadable, assumed House). Notable signers include James A. Garfield, William McKinley, Thomas Swann, Anson McCook, and Alexander Stephens. Letters and documents signed by personalities of the period are enclosed (or tipped into) the album, most addressed to Mr. W.N. Robins, who almost certainly compiled this album (few pages detached, occasional soiling and edge wear, notes inscribed in red ink throughout the album; wear to covers, lacking spine). Hartranft, Governor of Pennsylvania; tipped in letter signed by Lewis Cass, former candidate for US President; Prince Louis Weigand, performer (few pages detached, occasional soiling and edge wear, small notes inscribed throughout the album; wear to covers).
