A twentieth-century American silver shaving mug, in the Art Nouveau style, of asymmetrical form, with spout opening and loop handle, the exterior decoration with foliate tendrils, ensuite with an inset beaker with perforated base engraved with a cypher, the underside marked, "STERLING" and with maker's mark for Gorham, also incised, "Bailey, Banks & Biddle Co.", length 16cm, height 7cm, weight 250g/8.03ozt approx
