A Victorian silver desk stand or inkstand, of shaped rectangular form, decorated in the Gothic revival style, atop four scroll form supports, ensuite with two fitted cut glass and silver topped ink bottles flanking a central taperstick with hexagonal base, the stand with two linear recesses and applied silver collars to secure the ink bottles, all component silver pieces with matching hallmarks, Martin, Hall & Co (Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall), London 1869, length 25.3cm, combined weight of all weighable silver 490g/15.75ozt approx
