DESCRIPTION: An antique Victorian portable inkwell stand desk designed with a two handled carved wooden base stand embellished with an etched decorated mirror. The ink stand or "Standish", from the turn of the century, with a brass handles for carrying and 2 cut glass inkwells for 2 inks and a central cut glass bowl. This stand desk has a shallow tray for holding pens.
CIRCA: Late 19th - Early 20th Century.
ORIGIN: Unknown.
