(RICHARD ‘DICK’ WINTERS) (1918-2011) Army officer and decorated war veteran, commander of Co. ‘E’, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, made famous in ‘Band of Brothers’. The oversize illustrated volume ‘At the Point of No Return: Pictorial History of the America Paratroopers in the Invasion of Normandy’ (Belgium: D-Day Publishing, 1994), 200pp. folio, with numerous black and white images. Bears Winter’s ownership label on first flyleaf. Ex: Dick Winters’ personal library, obtained by The Gettysburg Museum of History. Near fine.
