Lot of nine items signed by members of the B-29 bomber 'Enola Gay' which, piloted by PAUL TIBBETS and named after his mother, delivered an atomic bomb over Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. Included are: signed 8 x 10 in. b/w portraits of Pilot PAUL TIBBETS, Bombardier THOMAS FEREBEE, Navigator THEODORE VAN KIRK, and Tail Gunner GEORGE CARON; a 5 x 7 in. b/w portrait of Radio Officer RICHARD NELSON; a rare signature on a small sheet by co-pilot ROBERT LEWIS, a signed card of Radar Officer JACOB BESER, and an illustrated signed card by co-Weaponeer MORRIS JEPPSON. Also included is a 20th Air Force shoulder patch. Ten pieces.
