Item Details
Description

While Miller Dunn pumps are generally not rare, an early model No 1 made of brass is. A vast majority of Miller Dunn shallow water pumps surviving are model 1A. According to the book The Divinhood by Peter Jackson, he states that it is unknown why a small number of brass and bronze pumps were made. The author also notes that he has seen only 2 in his research! This pump is in very good condition and moves freely. An old cast iron handle is present with a wood end and brass retaining color. The pump is bolted to a wood base. Overall weight is approximately 41 pounds. If you have an early Divinhood Style 1 or 2, this would be a great rare companion piece.
