Description
Large pair of ornamental vases in Paris porcelain. Work from the Empire period - early 19th century, 1810s-1820s. Beautiful two-sided decoration, on the front a Saint Bishop and Saint Vincent de Paul giving alms. . On the plain gold back appears a decoration of military trophies in matte and shiny gold. Very beautiful ornamentation of matte and shiny gilding throughout the vase, particularly the side handles in busts of winged terms (antique-style women) gilded in matte. Quite a large model, very decorative, formats of this size were a luxury production at the time. Beautiful complement of Empire decor decor. They can be placed in a living room presenting the gold side or in a castle chapel or an Episcopal Palace presenting religious subjects. Our vases are well preserved (fresh gilding, bright colors). Height: 28.5cm
