Description
A (5) five piece estate lot of early polychrome Chinese art pottery vessels. Four are hand painted with primitive tribal designs, using pigments of black and red. The larger red clay vessel features an incised rice design lattice pattern throughout surface. No apparent maker marks. Largest measures 12" x 8" x 8"; and smallest measures 6" x 7.5" x 7".
Dimensions: 12 X 8.5 X 8.5 in.
Condition: Fair overall condition having average to moderate surface wear, with paint loss and wear to edges and rims. The second largest vase has a hair line crack through the middle, and damage to it's top rim. Please bid accordingly. Estate fresh to the market.
