Provenance:
From a Rowayton, CT estate containing the oeuvre of Judith Chamberlain, mother of the decedent
Born in San Francisco, CA on Feb. 28, 1893. Chamberlain was a pupil of Max Weber. She was a resident of her native city until about 1922 and then studied in Paris. Her works include still lifes and landscapes. Exh: San Francisco Art Association, 1918-20; Salon des Ind?pendents, Paris, 1923.
