Description
**Originally Listed At $450**

Southeast Asia, Indonesia, Borneo, Ibanic Dayak or Sea Dayak people, ca. early to mid-20th century CE. A marvelous and massive canoe paddle, skillfully hand-carved from red-brown wood to present an elongated body with a petaloid head, a vertical mid-rib, and a slender shaft that tapers to a decorative, flared handle. The symmetrical handle is sculpted with several indentations on each side to allow for an easier grip. A rich chocolate brown patina envelops the entirety of this fascinating implement!
