A Meissen gilt-metal-mounted flower-shaped snuff box, mid 18th century

Modelled in the form of a carnation, painted in shades of pink, the inside cover painted with a scene of putti in a landscape, 4.5cm high, 6cm diam. (bottom of box restuck through middle)

The bottom half of the box is restuck lengthwise through the middle and restored. There is scattered very light rubbing to the enamels on the outside, mainly to raised areas. There are two or three tiny scratches around the outside edge of the scene on the inside of the box.

Otherwise generally good condition.
