A Russian sterling silver Torah shield. A large shield-shaped breastplate with a relief crown on the top and a central depiction of Tablets of the Covenant with engraved accents. Elaborate decorative framing. The item is suspended on a chain. Hallmark of 84 silver standard, Russian assay mark, Sterling mark on the fromt. Presumably a Ukranian production. Total Weight: 832 grams. Torah shield is part of a decorative ensemble that covers the Torah scroll when it is not in use. Collectible Judaica, Religious Items, Silverware Jewelry And Decor.

Dimensions: 13 1/2 x 10 in. All measurements are approximate.
