Portrait of a Lady, three quarter length, dressed in a blue satin gown with her arm resting on a brocaded silk cushion, unsigned, inscribed possibly later and lower left "Dame Frances Norcliffe/Wife of Sir Thos. Norcliffe Knt./born 1654 . 1731", oil on canvas, 50 x 40-1/4 in. (127 x 101.6 cm.); possibly 17th century carved and gilt wood frame, garland decoration, 59-1/8 x 49-1/2 x 3 in.
