Scenes Mythologiques. Paris: "Le Livre", 1924. Full blue morocco gilt signed by Huser, the covers with a field of small gilt stars placed in a grid, with a band of turquoise leather outlined in black in the form of an Ionic scroll, above a curving band of white morocco; the design extending to the spine, lettered at head and foot; full white morocco doublures, silk endpapers, edges gilt on the rough, housed in a leather-backed chemise and slipcase. 7 1/2 x 5 3/8 inches (19 x 13.75 cm); 80, [2] pp., with 20 eaux-fortes by Marty throughout. The spine of the chemise a trifle faded, but the binding fine.
Huser was a contemporary of Nouilhac, Canape, Levitzky and other binders of the Art Deco period, and he was used as a finisher by Pierre Legrain among others.
