The Oriental Geography of Ebn Haukal, an Arabian traveller of the tenth century. London: The Oriental Press for T. Cadell, Jun. and W. Davies, 1800. First edition, a presentation copy from Ouseley to the great collector Sir Thomas Phillipps, dated 1830 (on a terminal blank). Publisher's cloth (?), rebacked in leather. 10 5/8 x 8 3/8 inches (27 x 21.5 cm); xxxvi (index bound out of order), 327, [1] pp., folding map; bound with [idem]. Observations on some medals and gems bearing inscriptions in the Pahlavi or Ancient Persick Character. London: The Oriental Press for E. Harding, 1801. First edition. iv, 47, [1] pp., frontispiece of coins. Some wear and soiling to the binding, but generally a very fresh copy internally, though a small stain to the margin of the frontispiece in the second work.
