Charles X period, circa 1830, in retail condition.
indistinctly signed to the dial Neff a Paris, the clock movement stamped B.P. & F. and numbered 3568
the case formed as a classical style architectural found with satyr mask issuing a rotating spiral glass rod water spout into a silvered shell cistern flanked by silvered models of swans before chain hung engine turned bollards, the whole surmounted by an acanthus cast drumhead with 3.5" silvered Roman dial with engine turned centre, raised on a plinth base and foliate feet, the base with removable cut glass box, the twin train clock movement with silk suspension and outside count wheel , the glass rotating rod operated by a spring driven movement, with musical movement playing two tunes, with winding keys and pendulum,
