Description
Chinese pottery boar figure, Han Dynasty (206 BCE-233 CE), modeled standing four square with open eyes, having no plinth or base. In Chinese iconography the boar symbolizes the wealth of the forest. Note: TL testing dates the figure included in this lot as being last fired approximately 2000 years ago (+/- 200 years), or circa 20AD.

Condition
All glaze has worn away, scattered small chips to feet, tail and snout.
