These are homemade, hand sewn cushions Mr. Minch carried to Spring training every year to have signed by players and HOF'ers from multiple teams. One side of the cushion features Cleveland Indians with red number next to name signifying their jersey number. The other side features teams and their players signatures. SIDE ONE RING ONE has 21 unpires and coaches. RING TWO has 32 signatures of media and mewspaper including Hal Lebovitz, Herb Score. THIRD RING has 53 Cleveland Indians including Len Barker and many others. OTHER SIDE has 179 signatures from 9 teams (Taiyo Whales, Brewers, Mexico City Reds, Athletics, Angels, Mariners, Padres, Cubs, Giants. Notables include Rickey Henderson, Rod Carew, Willie McCovey. H.J.C. Minch, Cleveland native and avid Tribe fan traveled for more than 20 years to the Cleveland Indians Spring Training in Arizona. He was given an American League pass by then Indians club president Gabe Paul to travel and see any game for free. Included with every lot from this auction and his estate is documentation and article from Hal Lebovitz, (longtime Plain Dealer Editorial writer) describing Mr. Minch?s life with the Tribe. He was a well loved and a respected feature at Hi Corbett Field, Winter home of the Cleveland Indians every year. He was loved by the Cleveland Indians, and garnered numerous autographed baseballs and home made cushions from several teams which are all featured in this auction, and have autographs of many Hall of Famers as well as other players.
