Ball & Black Co. 950 Sterling - 6 Melon Forks 17.32 troy oz. This is a set of rare and exquisite melon forks made by the Ball and Black Co in NYC circa 1851-1874. They are 950/1000 silver, a higher grade then sterling. The handles are a melon design with a monogram initial on one side. Lightly polished and some wear due to age but overall very nice and unique pieces. The forks measure 8.25 " long, the handles are hollow and the total weight of all 6 forks is 17.32 troy oz. of 950 silver. Please refer to all photos. Overall in good condition.
