Seven Pewter Household Items, America and Europe, 19th century. Assembled group includes one ladle impressed with c. 1835 marks of John Yates, Birmingham, England, on back of fiddle-shaped handle; one half-liter and one two-liter lidded measure with French hallmarks, one impressed 'MAISON LESEIGNEUR / DEVERRE Suc.\r / CAEN' on the bottom; two similarly sized baluster-form measures, the smaller impressed 'JD' and '1838' on galleried rim, the other with initials '[-].H.T' and the date '186[0]'; one unmarked salt or egg cup with beaded top and bottom edges; and one unmarked inkwell with hinged lid and conforming glass insert, ladle, 10cm wide, 7cm deep, 33cm high (4 1/4in wide, 3in deep, 13 1/2in high).
