Austria, a mid 19th century three train Vienna regulator in the Biedermeier style, the rosewood veneered, three light case with contrasting edging, ogee bottom bracket with ripple molding, the door with applied composition ornaments and bead and reel moldings, and the top with projecting cornice and pitched pediment, roman numeral white enamel dial with blued steel hands and cast pie crust bezel, brass, eight day, three train movement with spring driven striking and weight driven time train, with brass clad weight and pendulum bob
Condition
bottom bracket lacking ornamental drop, right side with faded horizontal veneer at bottom, left side with fading at top & bottom, the bottom bracket also with lighter veneers at left and right, veneers with minor checking, pediment replaced, detached, dial with hairlines at 3:00 and chipping at winding holes, minute hand bent, hour hand broken, bezel and movement with tarnish, movement ticks and strikes, weight with small dents, pendulum rod replaced, ACCESSORIES: Pendulum, Brass Weight, Pediment, End of Hour Hand, circa 1850
