GERMAN HANAU FIGURAL CARRIAGE SILVER COVERED SALT, horse-drawn carriage with hinged top enclosing a colorless-glass lined well, exterior featuring ornate decoration, raised on four wheels, two horses to the front with a cherub holding the reins and a whip. Underside of carriage impressed with three pseudo hallmarks for Storck & Sinsheimer of Hanau, Germany, unknown silver fineness/metal content. Total weight excluding glass liner: 3.965 ozt. Late 19th/first quarter 20th century. 2 1/2" HOA, 5 1/4" x 1 1/2" OA.

Condition
Very good overall condition with minor wear, surface scratches, and nicks, some minute/small dents and slight bending, reins possibly replaced or broken, at least one jump ring likely replaced on horse mounts and bending to other jump ring, glass undamaged.
