JOHN DEACONS (SCOTTISH, B. 1950) INTERLACED GARLANDS AND SILHOUETTES OVERLAY AND MILLEFIORI STUDIO ART GLASS PAPERWEIGHTS, opaque red to opaque white to colorless, cut-faceted with a circular top window, central green Rooster silhouette cane, encircled by interlaced garlands of cranberry whirl complex canes and blue whirl complex canes, with silhouette canes in the negative space, silhouettes include a Deer, Ram, Squirrel, and Sheep, all above a mushroomed upset muslin ground, signature cane to the underside, polished pontil mark. Deacons Glass, Crieff, Scotland. Dated 2004. 2 1/4" H, 3 1/8" DOA.
