20th century Mexican folk art, ex voto painting on metal, honoring and thanking Jesus. Set in a simple gilt frame. The text in the image describes the miracle that occurred: Gracias doy a Dios Nuestro Señor por permitirme sanar de una pierna que por el reumatismo ya no podia caminar a dios le pedí un milagro para que se me quitaron mis dolores aunque no caminara pero que me quitaron esos tremendos dolores y ya no me dolieron y camino. (I thank God our Lord for allowing me to heal from a leg that because of rheumatism I could no longer walk to God. I asked for a miracle so that my pains were removed even if I did not walk, but he took away those tremendous pains and they no longer hurt me and I walk.)
