George III Sterling Silver Coffee Pot, London, 1800, maker's mark for John Emes, of baluster form on oval foot, scroll handle with bone insulators and acorn finial, engraved with a heraldic shield and motto "Crescat et Floreat," (may it grow and flourish) well marked to the bottom and cover interior.
Dimensions: 12.5 in.h. x 7.5 in.w.
Total approximate weight: 920 g. / 29.5787 oz. troy.
Condition: Handle with another maker's mark, probably replaced. Small solder mark to top of handle. The handle with maker's mark for Edward Farrell. Finial bent slightly at top, insulator at lower section of handle appears to be wood, and is somewhat worn.
