A group of framed Chinese embroidery fragments
20th century
Comprising three embroidery fragments, the largest with a central five-clawed dragon motif surrounded by auspicious characters including phoenix, birds, bats, flowers, waves and clouds, and the two narrow fragments with overall floral and character motifs including carp, bats, butterflies, and other auspicious items, all variously worked with floss silk and metallic thread in satin stitch, laid couching and other embroidery stitches, each professionally mounted with fabric-covered mats and framed under glass, 3 pieces
Largest: 21.5" H x 3.5" W; smallest: 11" H x 8.5" W

Largest: 21.5" H x 3.5" W; smallest: 11" H x 8.5" W
Condition
Each overall good condition with wear commensurate with age and use. The two narrow pieces with scattered loose stitches. One narrow piece with a small hole in the lower third section. Textiles not examined out of frame.
