Written in pencil inside "Graduated by ?? Potter, 1912." Note in case reads "I believe there was a Luthier/Violin Maker in Gilmanton, NH named Potter". In worn ca 1910 fitted 6" x 32" x 10" case; PLUS Violin, rosewood finish, Cremona pattern, probably German, student violin, unmarked, with one-piece maple back, maple neck, tight scroll having all four pegs, 13" body, 22" overall, cracked spruce top, loose in 5" x 31" x 11" wooden case; PLUS 29" Albert Schubert pernambuco bow.
