Lot of 3 Horse Prints YOSHIJIRO MOKUCHU URUSHIBARA (Japanese 1888 - 1953) and Sonan Noda (Japanese). 2 pieces by Urushibara Yoshijiro Mokuchu signed ,The Japanese print maker known for his many black-and-white prints of horses. He lived in Europe for many years, and exhibited in the United States after World War II. The 3rd piece is by Sonan Noda, signed, and is a first edition. Sonana Noda who specialized in stylized images of horses with a very recognizable linear style. He uses the color of the paper to create a negative line against a black ground.
