She is one of the most important representatives of the geometric abstract trend and kineticism. She was also noted for her laudable actions as a promoter of Cuban art.In 1912, Loló Soldevilla moved with her family to Havana.Loló Soldevilla began painting in 1948. In 1949, she moved to the city of Paris where she studied sculpture at the Grande Chaumière Academy. In the year 1950, he exhibited his works at the Havana Lyceum. And in the middle of 1951, he returned to France where he entered a workshop of the abstract painters Dewasne and Pillet. Also during that time he took a course in engraving techniques with Hayter and Cochet. In 1953, the Arnaud Gallery hosted the joint Loló/Varela exhibition.Two years later, he exhibited a series of luminous reliefs at the Gallery of Realités Nouvelles. In 1956, he returned to Cuba where he exhibited his works at the Palace of Fine Arts in Havana.During the academic year 1960 - 1961, she worked as a professor of plastic arts at the School of Architecture of the University of Havana. And in 1964 he founded the group of painters Espacio
