Oil on Canvas, A sketch design for the mural "Equality, Opportunity" for the The Mosaic Frieze at Cooper Branch Library, Rutgers University, Camden, circa 1916. D'Ascenzo Studios, Philadelphia.

Dimensions: 16" x 39", the frame 18" x 41".

Footnote: Produced by D'Ascenzo Studios between 1904 and 1959. This work has descended in the family of David Bramnick (1892-1959), D'Ascenzo Studios' head designer and painter who worked with the firm for 45 years following Nicola D'Ascenzo's death in 1954.

Condition

There is a small canvas tear at the right edge, some minor paint loss and there is a scratch at the upper right corner.
