Description
Gorham sterling silver 1915 St Dunstan pattern serving pieces. Lot consists of 4 large serving round bowl forks, one large table style spoon, one large serving spoon, one bon bon or tomato server and two large 4 prong forks. All are solid sterling silver with an elaborate chased design. St. Dunstan is said to be one of the most costly designs Gorham manufactured. The two 4-prong forks measure 8.75" and each weighs 114 gms, the round bowl forks measure 8.75" long x 2.5" wide and weigh 113 gms each, the table spoon is 8.5" long and weighs 87 gms, the large serving spoon is 8.75" and 104 gms, and the bon bon/ tomato server is 8" and 97 gms. All are stamped with the Gorham Lion, anchor, G hallmarks, 1915, and Sterling. Condition: good. Each has a light single letter monogram of either a G, F, or B. One fork has a gold washed bowl with some wear to the finish. Total weight of silver is 968 gms.
